OBJECTIVE/context

In an effort to increase unaided awareness and acquire new passengers, Lyft partnered with AEG to activate content in 15 music venues across 6 central U.S. markets.

SFO — The Warfield, The Regency Ballroom
DEN — 1st BANK Center; Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater; Bluebird Theater; Ogden Theatre; Gothic Theatre

LAS — Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace; The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

This partnership ran for a year, helping establish a consistent brand presence in concert venues that aligned with Lyft’s target market.

STRATEGY/concept

Visually, we were inspired by the shapes and sounds of musical instruments. Copy evoked the fun, active culture of concerts of any genre while tapping into the frustration associated with traffic headaches. We blended those inspirations with the energetic and playful illustration style previously established by the brand, speaking to a precise segment of consumers while staying true to Lyft's roots.
